Welcome to our new website! I still remember our first website back in 1995 when the web was fairly new, and web development tools were no more sophisticated than using Microsoft Notepad. We've come a long way, and I want to thank Stooke Media for all their help developing the new site. In conjunction with our new website, we've formally launched our two core services: ServiceWorks - a flat-fee, all-in technology service for small to medium businesses, and TalkWorks - our fully managed telephony offering for small to medium businesses, leveraging various technologies to both reduce monthly costs, and offer a rich and fully customized feature set previously only found on expensive, enterprise-level phone systems. We've been offering both of these services in various forms for years to our loyal partners and it's with their help that we've been able to fine tune them and release them as polished service offerings. As we added new services, we also needed to add new staff to support them. With the addition of a dedicated servicedesk (starring Joel Harsevoort and Christian Martin) we've been able to drastically improve our response times to partner-reported questions and issues. Norrie Davidson, our new COO, has been driving improved service levels across the organization which has also created some new roles with familiar faces. Mark Ruddy has been working as our dedicated Service Manager since early in 2011, ensuring our partners are well-serviced, and Fred Capretta has enjoyed working with our partners as a dedicated Account Manager. Brent Nicholls, Jon Meerveld, and Colin Renaud are still our technical "Knights in shining armour" - in front of partners, onsite on a daily basis. And Nicole Whaley has been keeping us all in line as our Office Administrator. Our partners have been giving us some great, positive feedback on these changes, and we'll continue to improve. It's been a positive 2011, and I'm proud to be working with such an energetic, friendly and partner-focused team! On a personal note, all of these changes have allowed me to focus on the services we provide and develop the technologies to support them. As I research, evaluate and develop new offerings, I'll be blogging on the interesting bits. I'm excited to be able to share my notes, successes (and failures) in the upcoming weeks and look forward to an exciting year of growth and positive changes! Leave a Reply |
